E. GRADY JOLLY, Circuit Judge: This case is on appeal to review the district court's dismissal of a pretrial detainee's action under 42 U.S.C. Â§ 1983. Because we find that the district court properly refused to grant the appellant's motions for a default judgment, summary judgment, or discovery, and because appointed counsel for the appellant was unnecessary, we affirm.
